Call for Book Reviews

Scope of the call

BRIQ continuously accepts proposals for critical reviews of recent scholarly books on international politics, economics, culture, Asia, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the developing world.

Once a proposal is accepted, the review should concisely introduce the book’s main questions and perspective and assess its strengths, weaknesses, scholarly quality, and contribution to the field.

Review file

• No more than 1,000 words
• The book’s bibliographic record in APA style
• A short biography of the reviewer of no more than 150 words
• A critical, reasoned, and properly sourced assessment

Book proposals and submission questions may be sent to the BRIQ Publication Board at briq@briqjournal.com.

Submission

Manuscripts may be prepared in Turkish or English. Authors should review the submission guidelines before submitting.
