Reconfiguring Transatlantic Relations in an Era of War and Strategic Fragmentation

Scope of the call

The contemporary international system is undergoing a profound transformation shaped by overlapping crises, shifting balances of power, and the erosion of established institutions. The war in Ukraine, political change in the United States, and the conflict involving Iran have accelerated the reconfiguration of transatlantic relations.

BRIQ invites critical and interdisciplinary contributions that examine US–European relations and NATO’s changing role together with structural transformations in the global system.

Transformation in transatlantic relations

• The effects of changes in US domestic politics on alliance relations

The changing security environment

Guidelines and submission

Original manuscripts of 5,000–9,000 words that are not under consideration elsewhere are accepted. BRIQ uses APA style, and scholarly articles undergo double-blind peer review.

Manuscripts may be prepared in Turkish or English. Authors should review the submission guidelines before submitting.
